The first day of our holiday was spent at the Magic Kingdom, and i will always be the first to say, that it holds so many memories here, we got engaged here, and it holds a very special place in my heart for many reasons.
It was my 10th time visiting The Magic Kingdom, and my (now finance's) first time there.
I had of course told him all about it, and shared so many memories with him about all the times i had been, but anybody who has visited Disneyworld will know, that talking about it is nothing compared to actually being there!
The Magic Kingdom is a place where dreams can come true, and you can truly be whoever your heart wants you to be. The young, the old, the in-between but of course the young at heart come together in one place to literally celebrate.. life!
Its the one place in the world where i see people celebrating anything and everything! from birthdays to simply just family time.
The whole park is full of laughter, happy tears and sprinkles of magic covered smiles. This time, for me felt like the very first time all over again, because when you take the person of your dreams to the place of your dreams.. it all becomes a reality.
We decided to get the boat service to from entrance of magic Kingdom to the actual park entrance! It was of course a very magical experience! You can see the castle from the boat, and i just couldn't help but be in floods of tears, as was Dan (my fiancé). It takes my breath away when I'm on the boat on the way to the entrance, i feel like my life goes in slow motion. Everything outside of that moment just begins to fade away, and i begin to realise all that i have accomplished in order to just breath in the air, look down into the water and squint up at the sun.

Then i look up, and i see him! and it is the best feeling in the whole wide world! to be standing in the most magical place on earth, with the person who makes me feel the most magical being on earth!
Daniel brought be a crown, as its the only place i could truly feel like a princess, (and lets face it, was the only place wearing a crown in public isn't weird)
For the entire day, i was bowed at, waved at and called a princess the whole day! It truly was the most magical experience.
We met Mickey Mouse in the town square theatre, and what an amazing experience it was! I won't spoil what was special about it, (Just incase anybody wants to find out for themselves) but it was the first time i had ever experienced anything like it. My face says it all!

I of course got a signature!
You can't visit the magic kingdom without a signature picture also! There are professional photographers around the parks, ready to snap your picture! This is a service Disney provide called Memory Maker (I will go more into detail about this in another blog)

I am not somebody who likes rollercoasters. The thought of them makes my palms sweat if i'm honest! but Dan help me conquer some fears on this trip, and i kind of got pushed onto Splash mountain, a log water ride with a whopping 50ft drop. I was a trembling mess getting on the ride, came off the ride however drenched, crying my eyes out and could hardly walk! I am proud of myself though haha

(Just to clarify, yes thats me. In the front row, holding on for dear life lol)
We met amazing characters!

We also, took part in an amazing street party, called Move it, Shake it parade! we danced and sang along in front of the castle. It was tons of fun!

We then watched a brilliant show, called Mickeys friendship faire! all about how everyone is valued and has something special to give! It was such a powerful show, that truly does touch the heart, with some of my most loved characters, with lots of surprises too!

The day was simply magical! we watched parades, shows, drank, ate and laughed until we cried!
The perfect end to the night was watching Wishes, a nighttime firework show.
It is very very dear to my heart, and was the last time i would ever watch it as it is being replaced with another fireworks display, and so deserves it's own little blog, which i will be posting..
So, thats it! The Magic Kingdom guys,
I really hope you enjoyed reading this blog and looking at some of the pictures from our holiday too!
Look out for the next blog!
Until next folks!
remember, always let your conscience be your guide.
