Is Being Accepted Worth More Than Following Your Heart?

What a question.

Now- the obvious answer, if any of us were asked this would be ‘Of course it is’

But how many of us actually live by following our hearts? And how many of us get caught up in what society, government, religion, family, culture and education tell us we should be.

Following our hearts seems to be a laughable term when we have bills to pay, mouths to feed ADULTING to do.

Most of us have even conditioned ourselves to the point of telling ourselves that our current state of living is indeed ‘living the dream’

Money, sex, Instagram likes, Facebook friends, food, drink, drugs & what we think is, stability. But forgetting what you wanted before you were conditioned into thinking that LIFE GOT IN THE WAY, is far from living a life of stability.

WHAT IS FOLLOWING YOUR HEART?

To a lot of us, we’re at a stage in our lives where we don’t even know what that means.

Many may even feel like they never have, BUT THATS NOT THE TRUTH.

Think back to when you were a child, before you knew what LIMITATIONS were, you could do anything, be anything, DREAM anything! You were following your heart then.

so..

WHATS DIFFERENT NOW?

We’re comfortable.

That’s the difference, we have become comfortable with our limited ways of thinking. “We can’t do this because we lack in finance”, “we can’t do that because it’s not the norm, what will people say!”

Wether or not we choose to acknowledge it, subconsciously every decision is almost always connected to the human craving of ACCEPTANCE.

what we neglect is the one relationship that our happiness ultimately starts and ends with, and that’s with OURSELVES.

Every single second, minute & hour of your life your soul is calling you home.

Not home to money, masked loyalty, empty relationships, or meaningless jobs.

Calling you home to do what only you have been called to do, and that’s shine.

ACCEPTANCE STARTS WITH YOU.

Who are you?

What are you here to achieve?

Are you willing to break free of the limitations others have placed on you
